Notes from Last Year’s Festival:
Heartfelt thanks to Earthroots Staff and the many volunteers who make this day possible. And a big round of applause to the local businesses and individuals who sponsored the event and contributed to our silent auction. We are so grateful! The first festival at Big Oak Canyon was a success and we look forward to many years of celebrations to come at Earthroots property.
“I’m still carrying the energy and magic of the Earthroots Festival in my heart. This is what happens for me at Earthroots Field School…My heart gets moved and opened by the Earth-honoring community of adults and children…and I am grateful to be a part of it. The storytelling, the songs, the echo of the flute in the canyon, the heartbeat of the drums, the images of painted-faced children and chocolate-mustached adults…I carry these memories with me this week and draw upon them for soul nourishment:) Thank you, Jodi, for your vision, inspiration and perseverance. May all your relations feel this magic for the next generations and beyond. I love you all…”
