Native Plants and Herbs for Your Health

Bring your family for a fun filled day in nature learning to identify and utilize native plants for natural self care. Participants will be making several items to take home including natural insect repellant, healing salve, lip balm and calming spray, along with recipes to make them again with your friends. Retail value of the products if you were to buy similar items on Amazon is $40. Long term savings when you make your own products at home is endless, bumping up the value of this class many fold.

Participants should bring a healthy picnic style lunch, snacks and water. Children ages 5-12 will be engaged in a youth nature connection program with games, activities and wanders, in addition to making herbal remedies and hearing plant stories.

Adult and Teens: $70/person
Youth ages 5-12: $55/person
Children under 5 may join the youth program with parent supervision.
