Stepping into the World: Teen Survival Skills Campout

3-Day Camping Retreat for ages 13-18

In a modern world with little space to honor growth, transition, and challenge, Earthroots offers the Stepping Into the World Teen Camping Trip.

Adulthood comes on quickly. This weekend is an opportunity to learn primitive skills, getting in touch with our innate capacity for survival and contribution, and prepare for the transition ahead. Through a lens of Nature, Self, and Community we will challenge youth to make commitments to themselves and their communities. Follow-up family engagement is strongly recommended.

Skills will include tracking, stalking, trapping, food and medicine plant identification and use, finding and purifying water, nature observation and journaling.

This program is available by request to groups of 5 or more.  Please contact us at staci@earthrootsfieldschool.org for more information.
$250/teen, $225/sibling
