Imagine the faces of children, lighting up with joy and connection. Can you see them? You may find yourself smiling and mirroring their joy. Their smile, and yours, says it all. When you support Earthroots, you bring people together to discover and unlock that sense of joy and connection by experiencing nature in new and deepening ways. Your generosity over the years has helped Earthroots expand our reach to light up over 8,700 smiles, both young and old. These individuals experience something that will stay with them forever, a connection with nature and the earth within a supportive community. Thank you!

This season, we are asking for your support. We know that time spent in nature is healing and promotes caring for the earth. We know that the earth needs more people who care, and Earthroots instructors and programs are poised to deliver!

We’d love to say that we are on pace to meet this year’s financial goals, but unfortunately, this is not the case. Even with the generous support received to date, we are projecting a $27,000 budget shortfall. Please join us to close the gap with a gift today. Maybe this would be your first contribution to Earthroots – and we want you to know that every single dollar helps us meet this need.

We have until December 31, the end of the fiscal year, to make up the shortfall. It’s crunch time and we are calling on the community to help. We need individuals and businesses to do one last push for Earthroots. With your help we know that we can raise the additional funds needed to close the gap. Remember, all money raised stays here in Orange County and helps local children and families.

Your generosity promotes a sense of care and connection between people and the natural world by providing all ages a hands-on, limitless environmental exploration, for both learning and appreciation. We believe spending time outdoors with Earthroots can develop self-confidence and promote peer-to-peer socialization, positive relationships, and ecologically minded lifestyle changes.

Your contribution also protects Big Oak Canyon, our 39-acre wilderness land and regenerative living demonstration site in Orange County, a place with healthy soil, water, and fresh food. With your help, we are creating a more resilient native ecology and a thriving learning environment for generations to come. Although we focus much attention on the human benefits, Earthroots works to protect the plant and animal communities as well. We have documented the presence of many species at Big Oak Canyon that indicate a healthy habitat. This brings us hope and carries tremendous responsibility.

Please join us by donating today.

We are grateful for your gift, which brings joy and connection to the next generation of environmental caretakers while protecting precious native plant and animal communities.

Thank you for standing with us.
With gratitude,
Jodi Levine-Wright Executive Director
