Doubled over cheese cloth works great and so does
a clean scrap of fabric like a hand cloth or T-shirt.
Using a metal double burner would be safer!
I used glass here with a super low flame to show the ingredients more clearly.
when you pour in the cooler temperature oil, the beeswax partially solidifies.
Continue stirring to re-melt.
After the beeswax and oil are completely melted, remove from flame and add essential oils if desired.
Let the salve cool completely before moving.
