Join Big Oak Canyon’s caretaker and naturalist Shane Brown for a 2-hour casual wander observing the flora and fauna of Big Oak Canyon. Second Tuesdays of the month will be focused on plants, and fourth Tuesdays will be focused on birds and animal tracks and sign.

Please email one Medical and Release Form per participant to [email protected] at least one week before the event. Participants must register at least one week in advance. Limited spaces are available. Please review Earthroots registration policies before registering for class.
Tracker, craftsman, educator, and caretaker of Big Oak Canyon property. Shane also teaches ancestral arts, leads volunteer days at Big Oak Canyon, and teaches Spanish Immersion in Nature at Earthroots Field School. He is dedicated to learning and sharing the skills that it takes to be a human living in deep connection to other living things
